About This Event
5k & 10k in the grounds of Flamingo Land Resort Heads through the zoo past lions, tigers, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos and more! Also heads through the theme park, past the main rides and attractions. Race entry also includes entry into the resort after the race.
With RunThrough, you can expect a lively event village and clear guidance from our on-course team. After your run, enjoy food, drink and free finish-line goodies from our partners.
You can add an official event t-shirt to your entry at checkout for more than 30% off. Produced in partnership with RT Kit, it features the event logo on the chest and is the perfect keepsake to celebrate your race. Offering the t-shirt as an optional extra helps us keep entry costs lower for runners who prefer not to include merchandise.

The Route
Take on a unique race experience at the Flamingo Land 5K & 10K, set within the exciting grounds of Flamingo Land Resort. This unforgettable event combines running with the sights and sounds of one of the UK’s most distinctive attractions.
The route winds through the zoo, giving runners the rare chance to pass by incredible animals including lions, tigers, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos and more. From there, the course continues through the theme park, taking you past some of Flamingo Land’s biggest rides and attractions before heading to the finish.

Baggage
We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff, and they will help you find your baggage.

Water & Refreshments
There will be water provided at the halfway point of the 10k, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post-race goodies and medal. Please note the 5k won’t pass a water station on the course.

Spectator Info
Spectators are more than welcome, we advise staying in the event village where you will be able to catch the start & finish. Spectators will not be allowed entry into the main resort until 10am.
